Individual assessment and nutrition counseling with a registered dietitian are available to those with medical conditions requiring a special diet. Assistance is available for food allergies, digestive problems, celiac disease, kidney disease, pancreatitis, low body weight, difficulty meeting nutritional needs, or any medical condition that affects the ability to eat a normal diet. Initial appointments are about 1 hour. Follow-up and support are available as needed. There is no cost to persons covered under the Medical Services Plan. A physician referral is required for this service.
