Delta Controls & ESC Automation Charity Golf Tournament Benefits Peace Arch Hospital
Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation has received a $21,000 gift from the Delta Controls and ESC Automation 2010 Charity Golf Tournament held on July 8th at Hazelmere Golf and Tennis Club. This was a record-breaking year for this annual fundraising event, which since 2001 has raised more than $110,000 in support of the Hospital Foundation.
“Brian Goodchild, Jamie Ferdon and the team at Delta Controls and ESC Automation are an energetic and committed group who do an incredible job organizing their tournament year after year,” noted the Foundation’s executive director, Jackie Smith. She goes on to say, “Giving is making a tremendous difference to the level of patient care available at the hospital.”
This year’s event proceeds will go to benefit the Foundation’s $32 million Partners in Caring Campaign, which this year will fund the construction of the hospital’s new, modern and expanded maternity ward and the community’s new Centre for Active Living. Both projects are expected to be completed and fully operational by year’s end.
