$20,000+ golf tournament proceeds will go a “fairway” at Peace Arch Hospital
WHITE ROCK, B.C. September 23, 2011 – The Delta Controls/ESC Automation annual Charity Golf Tournament raised over $20,000 in support of Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation. The annual event, held in July, has designated its tournament proceeds to the hospital for over a decade. This year’s donation brings the tournament’s total giving to an amazing $130,000.
“We are grateful to have been the beneficiary of this tournament for the past 11 years.” said Jackie Smith, executive director, Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation. “This is a great example of a local business, their staff and clients taking the initiative to give where they work and live.” Delta Controls Inc. and ESC Automation share headquarter offices in Surrey. The companies work in partnership to manufacture and service high quality building automation systems. Proceeds from the annual Charity Golf Tournament fund priority medical equipment needs at Peace Arch Hospital.
