April 29, 2010  Four-hundred-and-fifty Surrey and White Rock residents gathered at Centennial Arena in White Rock on April 24th, 2010 at the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s 21 Annual Partners in Caring Gala.The event raised a total of $191,500 (net), with proceeds going to help fund a new maternity ward at Peace Arch Hospital.

White Rock, BC – Construction of the long-anticipated Centre for Active Living and Peace Arch Curling Club will begin this May—with representatives of the funding and operational partners taking the first cracks at demolishing the existing curling club building earlier this week. 

SURREY, B.C., February 3, 2010 - To mark the Grand Opening of their newest store, located at Morgan Crossing in South Surrey, Vancouver Island-based grocery retailer Thrifty Foods today announced it is making a $75,000 donation to the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s Partners in Caring Campaign to help fund a new maternity ward for the communities of South Surrey and White Rock.  

Morgan Creek Wedding Gala goes off without a hitch Surrey, BC – Morgan Creek Golf Course presented more than $2,300 to Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s new Maternity Ward.  The contribution resulted from donations made at the 2nd Annual Morgan Creek Wedding Gala.

Surrey, BC – The Morgan Creek Homeowner’s Association presented donations totaling more than $10,000 each to Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation’s Maternity Ward project.  The donation was made from event proceeds from Christmas in Morgan Creek - two holiday luncheons and fashion shows and an evening gala held on November 5th and 6th.
