Partners In Caring Campaign
In 2007, the Foundation launched the Partners in Caring Campaign. We aim to raise $32 million and invest it in a cause that is close to our heart: the health of our loved ones and our community.
The Campaign is advancing five priority initiatives:
- A new acute-care space - complete
- An MRI - complete
- A new maternity ward
- An Integrated Centre for Health Improvement
- A new Emergency Department
The campaign has raised $23 million. As a result, we now have 56 new, urgently needed acute-care beds on two floors of previously unused hospital space. We have local and more timely access to MRI. We are nearing our fundraising goal for the Integrated Centre for Health Improvement; we are raising funds for a brand new maternity ward for our sons and our daughters. And a new Emergency remains a top priority.
